DICHRO-X™ LENSES are hybrid color lenses made from dichroic/EZ-Glass™—invented & manufactured by Special FX®—that offer the following features and benefits:

• Eliminate or control dichroic off-axis color shifts (halation).
• High transmission performance with excellent color accuracy.
• Color/heat stability.
• Theatrical (dry location) version is single pane glass with exposed coating, so care must be taken to prevent scratching 
• Architectural (wet location) version is bonded double pane glass designed to withstand severe conditions.
• The most cost effective high performance color lenses available.

  
  Dichro-X™ (L) is a two stage dichroic hot mirror/EZ-Glass™ filter; (R) with straight color dichroic in the center beam    
     
  Architectural Dichro-X™ is bonded and tempered, designed to withstand severe conditions. McArthur Causeway, Miami, FL   Dichro-X™ can be used as part of the fixture glass on some types of lighting fixtures like this 250 watt halide Bega  
     
  Theatrical Dichro-X™ lenses gives great transmission and saturation on this standard Source 4   Architectural Dichro-X™ #2 features a straight dichroic center, usually specified for deep colors & narrow spots, shown on a 1000 watt SportsLighter (BT-Type)  
     
  Dichro-X™ is available for most types and sizes fixtures. Let FX® help you specify the perfect product for your application   Architectural Dichro-X™ on an Outdoor Altman PAR 64 (requiring a long snoot color accessory holder on this 1000 watt fixture)
